We purchased over $4,000 worth of furniture from the Room Store back in November of 2004. It was delivered in late January of 2005. When it was delivered we noticed a serious problem with the sofa/sleeper seat cushion and notified the store immediately. A claim was filed in early February. Since then we have had 6 service technicians come out and look at the sofa, take photos and make note that the problem is a manufacturers defect and the entire seat would need to be replaced. Instead of taking the recommendations of the service technicians the Room Store has chosen to replace the foam in the cushion (using another service tech) that did not work. After another two months passed we called them again since we had not heard from them after the last service tech came out. This was about a month ago and they indicated at that time they were going to replace the entire seat and that it would arrive in about 30-45 days at which time they would send out another service tech to install. Guess what, this week another box arrived and it was more of the same foam we got 4 months ago.
We are at our wits end, the couch is uncomfortable and unsightly, it is a manufacturers defect that is still under warranty and the Room Store will not fix the problem.
