"Rooms To NEVER COME!"

We bought furniture from Rooms To Go in July and spent 10,000 dollars!!! It is going on mid October and still we do not have the final delivery! Our headboard for our King size bed is missing and they have come on four different occasions, each time late, rude and our furniture has been dropped, unwrapped and not boxed and literally delivered broken in half on/from the truck! NO ONE we speak to at the corporate office, customer service, dispatch, the store we bought it from (the manager and the sales rep who sold us) can or will help us. This is completely unacceptable and intolerable. We have also missed 4 days of work to 'be there' for the 4 hour window and it has been for nothing! We don't even have all of our furniture! Do you think Rooms To Go gave us ANY compensation for these missed work days? Of course not! The latest is that they were supposed to deliver the headboard today (October 6, 2005) after 5 p.m. when we would be home from work- or they were to go by the office if we were running late and the leasing agents would let them in. They came at noon, not after 5 as promised, and they never went by the office, and now we are told we'll have to wait another indefinite amount of time for a re-delivery attempt! UNACCEPTABLE! The last time they came it was broken in half!? We waited for over 7.5 hours for nothing! This company is completely un-accomodating and has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and I work in sales at a major newspaper where I am going to write an article on this and on Rooms To Go's tacky, unprofessional and completely assenine excuse for customer service and false advertising regarding their hassle free delivery. Yeah, right! They've continuously upset the wrong person here. Spending over 10 thousand dollars on a major furniture purchase is supposed to be a joyous, happy and pleasurable experience. They have turned it into a nightmare, and insulting disaster with no sympathy or compensation offered and have driven us to extreme anxiety, complete frustration and teardom. ENOUGH! Give us our %*@!?*^&@! furniture and headboard already!!!!!!!!! Or come get all this crap and we'll GLADLY go some place reputable to make another sales rep's paycheck reflect a HEALTHY commission! The WORST purchasing experience I've had in 30 years!!!!!! Shawn
