Yahoo.com Personal Services Yahoo.com Personal Services October 6, 2005 One month ago I attempted to post a personal profile with Yahoo.com - they were offering a 7-day FREE TRIAL. After about 10 attempts Yahoo kept rejecting my profile, but wouldn't give me a reason. They just kept sending me a template reply. Consequently, after 3 days of attempts I cancelled my subscription (which technically had not even started since 1) only 3 days had gone by when I cancelled, and most importantly 2) I cancelled my subscription - clearly I hadn't received a service to be charged in the first place. Yahoo went ahead and charged my account and has refused to 1) return any of my requests to have my credit card reimbursed, nor have they even attempted to answer any of my e-mails. I have been unable to locate an actual telephone number to contact them so I could at least talk with a live person. I want my account reimbursed the $19.95 charge to my account for a service I NEVER RECEIVED!!!. I am quite disappointed with Yahoo as I have been a subscriber since 1996! This is absolutely no way to run a service. I have contacted them again with 4 e-mails demanding my monies be reimbursed to my account and expect a REAL answer -- not a 'boiler plate' answer! Please tell me what I can do to remedy this mess. I'm concerned that 1) they are not going to reimburse me for a service I never received, nor 2) they will continue to charge my account.
