Sears Store & front load washer Kenmore H4T washer & dryer. I have owned them since June 2005 & they have ruined my clothes. Their is an unbelievable odor in them and I can't get it out and every time I wash clothes in the washer & dryer it just smells I have had Sears out 2 times & have spoken to several different ladies on the phone(800#) telling me to use HE soap, sanitize the washer, Run the washer through a few cycles empty, did that. Did it with clorox, vinegar, pinesol, & everytime I run a load of laundry through the washer & dryer my clothes come out stinking. Of course now the blacks are gray, the khaki's are grey, And I buy new bra's & underwear just about every week. People distance themselves from me at work now. It is so embarrassing. I have even snuk home, showered, changed clothes & go back to work. First call technician Earl ran this cleaner through the washer made just for cleaning out stinking washer it & told me to keep the washer door open & said everything should be fine. Still stinks. Second call came out Norm technician resuggested EVERY thing I had already done & didn't see anything wrong with the washer, no oversudsing, no miss use, etc.. And just wrote a note on the ticket stating all my problems & how unhappy I was. He suggested I use powder soap instead of liquid. and to cycle the washer through the sanitizing, which I have already done to supposedly clean it out and still nothing. No one @ any of the Sears 800# will be responsible keep passing me to other 800#'s. A sharon advised me contact the maintenance agreemet group. A Carla told me to go back to the store & then gave me the National 800# for consumer complaints, no one is there on sunday so I will try tomorrow. I want them to come pickup the washer & dryer, give me my money back & help pay for the ruined clothes. I have followed their directions for months & more & more clothes keep getting ruined. This smell will just about gag you. I have changed my work chair 3 times due to the smell. My seat in my truck stinks now? And I am now traveling to my sisters to wash my clothes. My stinky greens are in their 3rd wash right now. My blacks are gray & my new clothes look very worn. I have over 25 pair of underwear I can't wear now & 8-9 bras that are ruined. Their are several nice work pants I can't wear anymore, Not to mentioned jeans, shirts and now sweaters. Can you help me or offer any assistance. My wife and I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM! Being in the south, if you get hot and sweat in the clothes, you can smell it 15 feet away, LITERALLY! We now wash clothes at my mothers down the street. I am giving up and buying a LG based on Consumer Reports. I thought about dropping the washer at the local Sears parking lot and chaining it to a light pole. I feel tremendously for you and completely understand your frustration. I have taken showers, dried off with a stinky towel which then made me stink without the clothes. I have not found a solution and Sears has not helped.
