I stayed one night at the Quality Inn on John C Calhoun in Orangeburg SC and would never stay another. During the night I awakened to a roach crawling on me. When I turned on a light to investigate I found roached crawling all about the bed, the nightstand next to the bed and on the wall. I picked up the nightstand clock to find more roaches, eggs and dropping. The next morning I complained to a front desk agent who refused to take any action to satisfy my complaint. I later complained to the owner/manager also refused to satisfy my complaint. If you've ever stayed at one of these Quality Hotels or one under the Choice Hotels umbrella you may be aware that they advertise this 100% Quality Guarantee which says that if you are not satisfied with any part of your stay, you wont pay for that part of your stay. DONT BELIEVE IT. THEY NEVER HONOR THEIR QUALITY PLEDGE. Dont ever stay at the Quality Inn on John C.
