Old navy stores / poor customer service Old navy stores / poor customer service October 30, 2005 Old navy in Toledo, Ohio
I went with my mother and grandmother to an Old navy store to purchase some tops. We walked inside and asked one of the two clerks we saw, who had previously been sitting there chatting, even though the display behind them was extremely messy and could have used cleaning up, where the plus section was, she directed us to the back of the store.
We walked to the back of the store and found the plus/clearance section. This section of the store appeared to be in disrepair and very shabby compared to the flashy, new appearance of the rest of the store. Clothes were strewn on the floor, in some areas pile up to the point where you could not pass through the walk way. The other sections, with the exception of the aforementioned display behind the chatty clerks, were being attended to and straightened up, while the plus/clearance section looked like a two year olds closet.
And yet, even while their store is such a mess, these two clerks can find time to sit and gossip. Even though the display RIGHT behind them has a stack of shirts that got knocked over, and other shirts that were falling out of the display crates. I still cant get over how messy the plus/clearance section was. Clothes were out in the middle of the aisles, and it appeared as though someone had grabbed a armful of clothes and just thrown them to the ground.
It was impossible to find anything there. It seemed as though none of the similar shirts were grouped together, they were all separated and to find a match you had to look through everything. It was terrible and I will never willingly go to Old Navy again.
Thank you for your time and I sincerely hope that they clean up their store.
