Old navy stores / poor customer service

Old navy in Toledo, Ohio

I went with my mother and grandmother to an Old navy store to purchase some tops. We walked inside and asked one of the two clerks we saw, who had previously been sitting there chatting, even though the display behind them was extremely messy and could have used cleaning up, where the plus section was, she directed us to the back of the store.

We walked to the back of the store and found the plus/clearance section. This section of the store appeared to be in disrepair and very shabby compared to the flashy, new appearance of the rest of the store. Clothes were strewn on the floor, in some areas pile up to the point where you could not pass through the walk way. The other sections, with the exception of the aforementioned display behind the chatty clerks, were being attended to and straightened up, while the plus/clearance section looked like a two year olds closet.

And yet, even while their store is such a mess, these two clerks can find time to sit and gossip. Even though the display RIGHT behind them has a stack of shirts that got knocked over, and other shirts that were falling out of the display crates. I still cant get over how messy the plus/clearance section was. Clothes were out in the middle of the aisles, and it appeared as though someone had grabbed a armful of clothes and just thrown them to the ground.

It was impossible to find anything there. It seemed as though none of the similar shirts were grouped together, they were all separated and to find a match you had to look through everything. It was terrible and I will never willingly go to Old Navy again.

Thank you for your time and I sincerely hope that they clean up their store.

Heather

I concur OLD NAVY STORES lack any retail oriented, properly trained employees or managers!! I have had several problems ranging from a cahier with a cold who wiped his nose with his hand then roughly tossed my items along the counter. Because needed the cashier to look up my account he also had to hold my license....my mistake I should have walked out. I tried to talk to a manager and instead of addressing my complaint she sarcastically said poor boy!.....never again....It's probably not going to be addressed by area management..they haven't a clue what customer service is to begin.

It's great to see responses like this. It just reinforces the fact that the web allows everyone an opportunity to speak, even uneducated, ignorant cretins that work at Old Navy. Maybe this store will improve when they start hiring new employees with more than a 4th grade vocabulary.

Are you serious lady! Listen to yourself! #1: the employees are allowed to have a little bit of fun at work when it not busy!! FYI Old navy is not a gucci store or something like that. Itslaid back, relaxed. If your one of those stuck up customers like you seem like we dont want you in our store anyways! #2: the reason clearance is like that is because we have heavy traffic you aren't the only one shopping! And you customers are fucking animals! YOU are the ones who leave it that way! We aren't in there throwing the shit on the floor stupid ass! How does that make old navy as a company bad? It doesnt! It makes the ppl that shop there slobs!! Yes I workthere and you ppl are rude, dirty, and just looking for a reason to bitch! Why dont you take this bull shit complaint and shove it up your ass!
