I recieved a call from Publishers Business Services while at work in January. I didn't really pay attention to what the woman was saying, because I was busy, and just agreed to get the subscription so they would leave me alone. After a few months of recieving the magazines, I wanted to cancel my subscription. I was told that I would either have to pay $75.00 for 2 years, or pay about $700 to pay off my order, and that I couldn't just cancel it. The woman that I talked to that time told me that Publishers Business Services had already paid the magazine companies that I had ordered magazines from, so I had to pay them, or they would be out some money. I wasn't allowed to cancel. I tried again to cancel, and I still was told that I couldn't. I didn't sign a contract, so I would like to cancel my subscription, and I should be able to. My name is Megan Kennemer, and my account number is 156745. The return address on the bill I recieved is Henderson, Nevada, but on the website, www.magsubs.com, the contact information says that they are located in Altamonte, Florida. If I am still not allowed to cancel my subscription, I intend on calling the Better Business Bureau in both of those cities to make a formal complaint through them. Thanks,
