I had ordered replacement blades for my Harold Benriner turner slicer on 7/28/05 from Celebrity Appliance, a supplier of small kitchen appliance.I received an order confirmation immediately afterward and my credit card was charged $19.24 on 7/29/05. On 8/23/05 I sent them an email at Email User because I had not received neither the blades nor a tracking number. I received a prompt response telling me they were checking into it and I could expect a response from them within 48 hours. I had not heard from them by 8/31 so I again emailed them inquiring about my order. Nothing. I continued sending queries on 9/01, 9/02, and on 9/03. I also called them at 515-939-2440, ext 301 and left a brief message explaining this problem. On 9/07 I finally received an email explaining my order is on back order and informing me my credit card has been credited $19.24 for the merchandise I had not received. However, as of this date, the charge remains on my credit card . I have not received the merchandise and although I have sent subsequent emails on 9/14, 9/23 and 9/26, I have not received a response concerning this matter. I had informed them on 9/26 I would be filing a complaint if they did not respond within 48 hours, which I feel was a more than reasonable amount of time since they promise to respond to inquires within 24 hours. The order number for this merchandise is 78653. I hope you can help me in this matter.
