ER Solutions, Renton, Washington

October 29, 2005

I am writing to complain about ER Solutions, a collection agency in Renton, Washington.

After several months of their almost daily calls pertaining to an overdrawn Washington Mutual account which I intend to pay, as soon as it is feasable for me, I wrote a cease and desist letter to ER Solutions; I sent it certified mail with returned receipt. I received the receipt on Oct 28 and it had been signed for on Oct 19. Since Oct 19, I received several calls from them. I called them on Oct 28 to notify them that they were in violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and that I would be notifying the New York Attorney General and the FTC of their violation. Jason, the person with whom I spoke, denied ever having gotten a letter from me, would not tell me if the calls would continue or stop, became very beligerant towards me, asked me if I was refusing to pay after I told him that I was working directly with the orginal creditor, told me that if I worked with the original creditor, the mark on my chex systems report would not be removed after which I told him that no on could remove it, and so on and so on. I hung up the phone because he was such a belligerent person who was in blatent violation of the law.

This is a horrible company that has horrible people working for it. My advice to anyone who deals with them is to not deal with them, ignore their calls, and take legal action if necessary. They do, however, have such a blatant disregard for the law, I doubt that legal action would even have an effect on them.
