On 28-Oct-2005 at around 3:00 pm, I walked into the Brigade Road branch in Bangalore (India) to enquire about how to get an NOC (No Objection Certificate) issued for the two-wheeler which I purchased on loan from CitiFinancial. I registered my name with the security guard and then at the reception counter.
However I was shocked by the rude behavior of the customer executive at the reception counter. I waited patiently for my turn to come. After half an hour when I approached her (the receptionist) and asked her for an estimated time frame, she rudely replied, "Can't you see I have come just now? I'll let you know when your turn comes." How can a customer executive question the visual capability of a customer with such rude words? She delivered these words with a rudeness that I never ever received from any of the services offered by Citi Group. She never showed minimum courtesy and politeness.
I myself have around three years of technical support experience. This kind of third-rated customer service is unbecoming of CitiFinancial! This has been my worst experience ever!
When I was not given any time frame even after repeated requests, I left the place in a frustrated mood after wasting 45 valuable minutes of my life. Shame on CitiFinancial and shame on their cheap and untrained customer support executives!
