In early September, we ordered the above product from an online company called America's Best BBQ.
We have not received the product and the company will not respond to our inquiries.
They have an 800 number for customer service with a recording advising the caller that the inquiry will be dealt with promptly. They have a local number in the Kansas City area which also advises the inquiry will be dealt with promptly. I believe in both cases, the recordings lead the caller to think they should expect a return call. I tried the local number yesterday.
They have 2 e-mail addresses to send inquiries to and both addresses immediately send "Auto-replies", confirming that the inquiry was received. They also contain an internet link to grade the company on their service.
We have called and e-mailed this company dozens of times and have only received 2 responses, 1 by phone and the other, by e-mail which came 3 times on the same day. They did not fulfill the commitments made on their responses. This company does not back up their claims about customer service and as far as we know, we've been ripped off for about $200.00.
On the outside, this company seems to be valid, reputable and knowledgeable. We are completely disgusted with them.
