I was contacted by phone by someone that was not very well adapted to the English language. The best I could understand, I was signing up for help with selling on e-bay, which I was interested in doing, for $3.27. Then kind of an added "oh by the way", the girl said if I was interested in joining SurplusAlert after a 30 day trial, it would be $29.95. Not $29.95 a month or I could cancel before the 30 days or anything to indicate such, at least not to my understanding! Two weeks later I'm charged $29.97! This caused overdraft charges on my checking account totaling $42.00 for the initial fee and after the snowball, it cost me $109.00 Yes, I was refunded the $29.95, but too late to avoid the $109.00 in fees to my checking account.

Learn from my mistake!! Beware of anything you receive a phone call for, especially if it requires money! And if the words Auction, E-Bay, SurplusAlert, trial offer, maybe you just best hang up!
