Chase Card Chase Card October 28, 2005 From: Michael Sent: Friday, October 28, 2005 3:30 PM
Subject: I have been a faithful Chase Card member for a number of years. I have consistently made two payments a month for as many years I have been a member. This past July I was offered a promotional deal for a two month 0% APR on new purchases for July through August. I was married two weeks ago and was away on my honeymoon which resulted in me being 3 days late on one payment. Chase rescinded the promotional deal they gave to me this past August and BACK CHARGED me finance Charges. I was told I was now a delinquent card member, even after an admission that I had been making two payments a month for a number of years. Recently I also received a letter from Chase advising me they have made a mistake and had to add an additional $121.00 in finance charges to my account. I received a cold snobby explanation from a supervisor about this when I called. I am transferring my balance and destroying my card today. I am done with Chase and will advise my entire family to do the same.
