Home Hardware - terrible service!

October 24, 2005

Home Hardware in Kirlkland Lake Ontario All within the same shopping trip, the lumber salesperson called my fellow shopper ‘guy’ as opposed to Sir, or something even remotely polite, the cashier refused to ring us through the cash for a $100 purchase, because she was waiting for someone to check on the size of a washer for $1.00 purchase (poor time management and customer relations, as we would have been done and gone, instead of having the $1.00 customer come back a forth a few times, while we waited) and then, the gentleman (and I am using the term rather loosely) who handles orders from the yard, suggested rather offensively that I had better stick to driving, as I do not know how to count. This business clearly needs to have some sort of politeness training, time management training, or simply a staff or even management over haul. I am not impressed at all, I still wished the gentleman from the yard a pleasant day, and I hope they gather up several $1.00 purchases in order to make up for any of the money that I will never personally spend there. To the people of Home Hardware, good luck with your business. To my fellow consumers, shop elsewhere. It will indeed save you some insults, as well as any unnecessary frustrations.
