My husband purchased the Haier dishwasher (model 210) for me for Christmas (actual purchase date is 1/14/2005). Since then the service technicians have been out 3 times, and the dishwasher has not worked since September 30, 2005. The service center referred from Haier (A & E Factory Service, which is only a call center located in Texas) and Haier customer service have stated that the necessary part will not arrive until at least October 31st. This means that at a minimum I will not have been able to use the dishwasher for over a month. If at that time the machine is not fixed they will just keep ordering parts until the “find” the right one. This means that there is an indefinite amount of time that the machine can be non-working. The customer support representatives from Haier state that they are "moving the warehouse" and so the part is backordered, but the representative can not tell me where the new warehouse is. In addition further investigation showed that there are 2 parts warehouses. Common since would say that if a company is going to consolidate warehouses, you move one, and ship parts from the other, then once the new warehouse is open you close the "backup" warehouse, you do not leave customers hanging for weeks. More over the Haier service representatives will not expedite shipping of the part once it becomes available, and I must "just wait until the part arrives" with no definite ETA. To me this is completely unacceptable. To allow a customer to have a non-working product sit for over a month, and to have a standard line that there is nothing more that can be done at this time shows the absolute lack of customer service on the part of Haier and A&E Factory Service. Any help or advice you can offer to help me quickly resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
