2001 Toyota Sienna maintenance and repair parts costs

October 20, 2005 My 2001 Sienna has 3 - O2 sensors, and one has failed, and is getting replaced for the princely sum of $561. I thought Toyotas were supposed to be reliable and inexpensive to maintain. If I kept this thing, which I won't, the required maintence costs, excluding oil changes, would reach $2000 in 100k miles. Consumer Reports doesn't talk about this when they put their wet kiss on a vehicle and tell us how wonderful it is. Had I known the truth about this, I definitely would have bought something else. This is the first and last Toyota I will ever own, and I will not be looking back at it wistfully when I drive away in my next vehicle.
