I've bough the house in April of 2005. Then I've contacted Powell Ins Agy Inc to change payment method (bill monthly). Nothing had happened. I’ve received "cancellation Notice" from Allstate. I've called Powell’s Ins again - made payment over the phone (on 08/06/95) and been told that my billing issue will be resolved next month. Nothing had happened - I called Powell Ins and demanded the explanation. The agent been giving me tons of excuses, but when I've stated that I need something done ASAP he turned very rude (if not say more) and told me to wait. I've been waiting till I've received another "Cancellation Notice" from Allstate. At that time I've decided to let the policy to be canceled. I’ve been looking and found another provider. The Allstate sent me a bill for $ 182.77. When I called back and demanded the explanation, the agent didn't want to talk to me about the reasons I'm being billed. He stated that Allstate will turn my account to collections. I've called corporate office at 847.402.5448 and had a very nasty conversation with Executive Secretary who is good at threatening people only. Listening skills- are non existent. I want Allstatate to remove my name from their database and don't want to be contacted by that company again; I want this bill ($182.77) to be canceled.
