I do not know who to turn to, my electrical meter was damage during hurricane Wilma, FPL cut off the power by cutting off the main cable from the pole to my house, they claimed I need it to fix the problem before the could tap me again. The problem was fixed by an electrician last Wednesday. I called the phone # they left, I was told I needed to get Miami Dade County to come and inspect the meter before thy could do anything else, this was last wed, today still I have not being able to get my power back the city has giving me (I do not know how many phone #), the run around, transferred from Dept to Dept and nothing, FPL the same thing, meanwhile my mother will be discharge fro the Hospital and still I do not have power. Could you point me in the right direction? FPL says this is the only county requiring an inspection. Palm Beach, Broadway is not. Why is Dade County being so difficult? From: Edgar
