I bought a 1999 Galant in July of 1999. In November of 2003 the paint job was turning white from black in splotches around my car. The warranty had just expired and I went to the Regional District Service Manager. He offered to repaint the spots. Which they did a very nice job of. The following year In 2004 it was happening again. I met with the Regional District Service Manager and he said they would repaint the spots. I became unemployed and wasn't able toafford a rental car--so I voluntarily postponed it. When I became employed again which is just recently--I went back to the Manager and this time it was a Mr. Baird. He was the rudest, most manipulative person I've ever met. He told me Ididn't take care of the car. That I refused to paint it last year--that he wasn't going to cover it because it was so long out of warranty. It didn't matter what I said he would come back with a rude remark meant to put the blame on me instead of Mitsubishi's bad paint job in the first place. This left a real bad taste. Especially after reading complaint number 16 about another person's misadventure with a black Galant. As far as I'm concerned if Mitsubishi doesn't redo the paint job on my car--I may start a law suit.
