T-Mobile Rebate FRAUD V-300 Motorola Phone purchased 7/1/05

November 6, 2005

Hello, I purchased one T-Mobile phone from Fry's Electronics in Palo Alto, CA on Fri July 21, 2005. It is now

November 6th. I sent in my rebate form with all the UPC codes, copies of original receipts, everything,

via USPS w/ Delivery Confirmation to :TMO to Go Motoroal V300/V330 PO Box 72999 Dept 1439 Detroit MI 48272-1439. I sent this on 0706/05. On Aug 18th, I received a letter from T-Mobile Rebate Offer PO Box 8340 Young America MN 55551-8340. In this letter, they write (the words in parantheses are mine) : Dear Shannon ________ (I've edited out my last name) We received your request and we thank you for your interest in the T-Mobile Rebate Offer. Ok, so I called immediately upon receipt of this letter, I told them of my paying my bill, the acct #

associated with this T-MOBILE acct, and was told that a check would be issued, by the way, they

mis-addressed the letter above that was sent, my apt # was incorrect, luckily, I did receive this letter, so in this conversation with this rep on this day, I told them of my correct address, also....... Then, on Sept 9th they sent the same letter, to my CORRECT address, in other words, they had my info from my 1st call, yet sent SAME letter, same wording in this one. I called, they said, "We thought you were a pay as you go customer, that was the problem". I have no idea what they meant, she said a rebate would be sent to me. I checked the status on this rebate, and it shows Date Posted 8-23-05, date shipped, 9-23-05. It is now, November 5th. I have received no check. I called on Sept.15th, and was told that I would need

to wait 90 days, (from 9-23-05), to call, as they said, "I could just cash this rebate check and they

can't reissue on until that check exprires." So, telephone bought 7/1/05, and I have to wait until 12/23/05 to *hope* I will recieve a rebate, naha, no

I'm not doing that. This is going straight to the Attorney General Monday, November 7th. If anyone is having rebate problems with a wireless company , I've been told call your Attorney General,

and they will solve the issue. I feel I've worked appx 8 hours minimum to get this resolved, the

repeated phone calls, the looking up on rebate status, (hard to find but did find you go to

'checkmyrebate.com", and eenter your info. Also, the checkmyrebate info states I should receive $20, yet the rebate is $50.00. Interesting..... Thank you for reading.
