both i and a coworker purchased what we thought would be an outstanding deal on a beauty and diet package from a promotional company for slender life. we were told by the rep that we would receive "X" amount of body wraps, a preassessment , postassessment, facial, etc. we informed the rep that we would be in need of "after 5 appts" since we worked until then and was told it was not a problem, that the center was open until 7pm.

after purchasing this "voucher" , we immediately called to schedule our appointments and we were told that they were open until 7, but the last scheduled appts for the body wrap services were at 5pm. when i informed them of the "promotion" they stated that it was the fault of the promotional company. when i asked them if they reviewed and approved the promotional company's vouchers and advertisement, they said of course. after several minutes of getting nowhere regarding the body wrap service, i asked her to just schedule me for the facial and was told that the "person" that did this service left at 5. i was passed around between the promo company and slender life, each blaming the other for the "advertising" and the approval. i never received a refund or exchange for anything; although we were told by slender life we were being put on "a refund list".
