Riverside Mitsubishi Riverside Mitsubishi November 5, 2005 RIVERSIDE MITSUBISHI - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CAR DEALERSHIP
On November 4th 2005 I was quoted at $10,250 out the door for a Chevy Impala. I told Joseph, the salesman, that I live roughly 70 miles away, and that if he could get me the Impala for $10,250 out the door I would make the trip and buy the vehicle. He told me he approved it with the owner and it was good to go.
On November 5th 2005 I drove up to Riverside to purchase the vehicle. After a test drive I noticed that the brakes were a little worn, so I asked Joseph how much % the brakes had left and when the oil was changed. He said he was going to ask a technician, but I watched as he just walked inside and stood around for a few minutes. He then came back outside and told me that the brakes were "good" and "the oil was changed recently."
I figured that those two items were not going to be costly repairs, so I decided to buy the Impala. After arriving in the finance department the general manager informed me that they could not sell the Impala for $10,250, and the lowest they would go is $11,000.
Joseph had not approved the price with a manager but he had lied to me just to get me into the dealership to try and sell me. They had no regard to the fact that I lived 70 miles away and that I took off work to buy the vehicle. I would have gladly offered them $11,000 but I only could only afford $10,000 let alone $10,250.
In conclusion Riverside Mitubishi has no regard for the customers. They only care about their commission check, which I assume is minimal like their service. I would not reccomend them to anyone.
