I ordered a costume off of ecostumes.com in October 2005 for a costume for my daughter's Halloween party. They sent a costume but they sent the wrong one. It was supposed to be the "Countess of the Dark" but instead I got a beer keg costume for a 6'2" 160lb man. My daughter was devastated. I had to pay three times the amount for the costume to get it from someone else. I made several attempts to contact ecosumtes. They never returned any of my emails or any of my phone messages. I contacted the yahoo store help being that ecostumes is a yahoo store. They contacted ecostumes which generated an email to me saying if I sent it back at my expense they would be more than happy to refund the total cost. I tried to talk to them about this and got no reply which leads me to believe that if I had sent it out I would be totally out any money I had paid into it. Yahoo has done nothing to rectify this situation. Even though they have a policy about this they did nothing to help solve the issue. I am ver disappointed in ecostumes and yahoo and I will never shop a yahoo store again as a result of this. I would rather shop Amazon.com or Ebay. I can not believe that they would let a store with such poor business ethics to continue working a yahoo store. They give a bad reputation to internet shopping that is for sure! I feel left out in the cold over this and with no one to help me. Is there anything left that I can do?
