Franklin, TN 37068 I decided to purchase with Corinthian Custom Homes (Prestige Homes) in May of 2005. I placed a contract for their Westport Landing lot in Bellevue, TN. The contract requirement was a $2000 earnest money agreement. I paid the $2000 and signed a contract with a closing date for August 31, 2005. Due to lack of materials on their part, they requested to push my closing date back to November 15, 2005. I agreed and signed another contract. I was very patient with them even though this was costing me more money (i.e. an increase of rent on my part for my apartment). Prestige Homes then called me a few weeks later, asking if they could push back the closing date AGAIN to November 23, 2005. I then asked to be released from my contract. Now, they do not want to refund ANY part of my $2000. I kept my part of the contract giving them until November 15, 2005 to complete construction. They are in breach of their contract because I have not signed or agreed to push back the closing date to November 23, 2005. I was more than patient with these builders. The realtors for this property, were not very helpful as well. They would not return my phone calls or my realtor's phone calls. If you are considering building/purchasing from these builders, DO NOT DO IT!!!
