Kawasaki Motor Corp. USA 9950 Jeronimo Rd, Irvine California 925618 As result of the defective oil pump, crank gear there was no oil circulation through the engine. That cause $2,500.00 dollar of engine damage. In which Kawasaki is willing to replace the oil pump crank, because they agree that the crank gear was a defective part (plastic) and they are willing to replace it will a metal gear. Nathan the customer service person said he receives call on this problem all the time and they only pay for replacement of the oil pump crank. I feel Kawasaki should be responsible for all the damages to the motor and a recall should be mandatory to replace the oil pump, crank gear. The willingness of Kawasaki to replace the oil pump crank is appreciative. However, it is because of the defective crank gear $1,500.00 dollar more is need to repair an engine with 14,000. original mile. Please call Cycle USA 14021 Georgia Ave Silver Spring.
