Hullo Peter I have a major frustration with Ixia (Sony Ericsson South Africa). We upgraded our Vodacom contract for 2 years in June 2005. As Nokia did not have acceptable handsets at the time we decided to purchase the Sony Ericsson V800. Well that was the beginning of my frustration!!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently the V800 is an excellent phone, as per other users. Since we purchased the phone it needed repairs 4 times. The phone was not working, it was not as if we could still use the phone. I requested a new handset. When they replied they said that they will exchange the phone. I assumed they will replace it according to my request. What a misguided assumption! Once again I have to be content with second best. The ring tone is set at 5 and is so soft you need the phone in your hand to hear … so here we go again! What must I do to get a new handset? My request is reasonable as the phone is permanently out of use! Kind regards RAMUTSA
