I have a charge from AutoAdvantage that I did not make on my credit card. I looked them up on internet and a complaint here came up and also their website. I contacted them at the website and they refused to cancel the order unless they received a personal phone call. When I called, they said I had requested it, that it had been a small check mark on some bill I had paid online or I had accepted a small $2.50 check in the mail or had checked something wanting info which within so much timeframe gave them permission to charge.....NO WAY! Watch your outgoing bills, your credit card statements, and any online bill paying. I wrote a complaint to the credit card company believing fully that they are innocent in this.
