I recently went to this business to buy a 1998 Nissan Maxima for $5,000.00, I was told by the Salesman (Mr. Dean) that there were no Hidden Charges & that I would only be paying the cost of the car, taxes, Interest & $150 for Plates & Registration. He said that though my credit wasn't Excellent he could get me approved. Then he said he would need a deposit on the car at a minimum of $500 refundable dollars, refundable if I wasn't approved with $1000.00 downpayment. The next day I get a call from Lucas their Finance Manager, now he tells me that I would only get approved if I leave a downpayment of $3,000.00, so I tell him that I could not afford a $3,000.00 downpayment & that I would like to see the Bank papers that say that these are the requirements in order to finance the vehicle, of course he told me that he could give me only a print out on their Letterhead, which of course means he was lying. So I call for the General Manager ("Bruno") who is a wanna be tough guy, he ignores my calls & his assistant tells me that he doesn't conduct business on the phone. So my wife & I leave work early to go get my deposit back, when we get there & ask for Bruno he doesn't come out to meet with us, my wife yelled & screamed at the office people until he finally comes out of his office & says "You aren't getting your money back, so let us get you into a lower cost vehicle", we had words back & forth & he finally says to us "F*$k u & your money, consider it lost, its only $500.00 so stop crying." At this point my wife is hysterical crying. My wife called the police & we stood out in front of the place for about an hour waiting for them to arrive. While waiting "Bruno" comes out to see another customer & I told the guy "don't do it to yourself, he's a scamming liar, the guy asked me why & I explained, while Bruno kept interrupting & saying that we are just mad because we didn't get approved, ultimately the customer left. Bruno was very upset & threatened to hurt us if we didn't leave. Finally the police arrive & we explain what happened to us, he looked at our receipt & didnt see anything saying that it was a non refundable deposit, but also said that these guys have loopholes that let them get away with stuff & that he comes out to their business at least 10 times a month for the same situation. He also showed us that even though we didn't buy the car through the Auction section of the business that they would charge us $525.00 as an "Auctioneers Fee." This is a terrible place & if I had the time I would stand in front everyday & made sure that no one bought a car from them. At the end we threatened to call Fox 5 Problem solvers & CBS's Shame on You & the So Called "General Manager Bruno" gave us $300.00 of our deposit back & said that he needed to charge us at least $200.00 for Administrative fees for the work that they put into running my application, which was total BullSh!t. I walked away because I feared losing the entire $500.00. But guess what Im still calling the News & making a stink about it.
Thanks & don't get fooled by Quick talkers & fast sign here, here & here acts, at the end, a good deal is usually a bad one.
