ON SATURDAY 05/28/05 OUR FAMILY WENT TO TEXAS ROADHOUSE IN WINSTON SALEM TO CELEBRETE MY NEPHEW'S GRATUATION. WE HAD A GROUP OF 15 ; WE CALLED AHEAD AND WERE TOLD TO CALL I YOBACK 1 HOUR BEFORE WE PLANNED TO BE THERE.

 

WE CALLED BACK AND WERE TOLD THEY CALL MEET OUR NEEDS BUT HAVE OUR ENTIRE PARTY THERE AT 8:15 PM. WE INFORMED THEM WE THREE CHILDREN IN THE GROU P. WE SAID WEWE NEED 2 HIGH CHAIRS AND 1 BOOSTER CHAIR. WE WERE THERE AT 8:15 PM : HOWEVER WHEN WE WERE SITTED NO HIGH CHAIRS OR BOOSTER CHAIR WERE THERE. WHEN WE REQUEST AGAIN ONLY 1 HIGH CHAIR AND 1 BOOSTER CAME. MY DAUGHTER REPEATED OUR REQUEST FOR 2 HIGH CHAIRS.

 

THE WAITRESS WAS RUDE AND SAID YOU ARE ONLY GETTING ONE . THE MANANGER WAS ALSO RUDE AND SAID I CAN'T TAKE ONE AWAY FROM SOME THEN THEY WOULD BE ANGRY. MY DAUGHTER TOLD HER SHE DID NOT EXPECT HER TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM ANOTHER PERSON .

 

MY DAUGHTER SAID WE WILL JUST LEAVE THEN SHE , HER HUSBAND AND CHILD LEFT. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED MANY WAYS:

 

1. LISTENED TO OUR REQUEST AND NOT SEATED US UNTIL 2 HIGH CHAIRS AND ABOOSTER CHAIR WAS IN PLACE SINCE WE HAD TO WAIT ANYWAY AFTER WE WERE ALL THERE.

 

2. GIVEN US THE OPTION TO WAIT A LITTLE WHILE LONGER OR BE SEATED AND GET NEXT AVAILABLE CHAIR.

 

3. IF WAITRESS AND MANAGER HAD NOT BEEN RUDE .
