Yet another complaint to lodge against Camera Express, Inc in Florida (specifically the outlet situated at 8338 International Drive, Orlando). Judging by the previous complaints against this chain of stores, the whole operation appears to be a tourist rip-off. Pepe, the salesman, appeared to be so smooth, but it is all part of his con operation! I was tricked into buying a camera supposedly retailing for $3000, but I found out later that this was 10 times higher than the actual selling price. Even with his supposed discount, I still paid 5 times more than competitive prices!

Naturally this extortionate overcharge was a big disappointment to an otherwise delightful first visit to Orlando. Compared to the level of service received from other shopping outlets, my experience with Camera Express borders on criminality! I surely hope that some consumer authority will take some action against their fraudulent activities. Roly M
