security systems

I placed an order with spygear4u.com. They sell security systems along with surveilance equipment.

I paid almost $14 for 3 day shipment. I was sent an email stating that my shipment had been processed and sent by FedEx. I was also given the tracking number. The order was placed on May 23rd, so I expected deliver to be on the 26th.

I went to the FedEx website to track my shipment and the site said that my order was expected to be delivered 7p.m. May 27th.

I tried contacting spygear4u.com to complain over the fact that I paid for 3 day shipping, not 4. A gentleman answered the phone and told me he was an answering service and could only "forward" my complaint. It seems there is no way of speaking directly with a customer service representative.

I sent a complaint via their website and never received a reply. When no one bothered to reply to my complaint, I figured there was no sense in waiting around for a delivery that FedEx said would not arrive on May 26th.

Well, I ran an errand that took only ONE hour to do. When I arrived home I saw a FedEx truck near my street. The driver stopped for about 2 minutes and then took off. Guess what? There was a notice on my door that a delivery attempt was made and sinse a signature was required, the package was not left.

I called FedEx to file a complaint about the fact that the information on their website was incorrect. The FedEx representative told me that the informationn on their website was CORRECT, but suddenly they found room on the truck for my package. I explained that I paid the company for 3 day delivery and theie website should have given the 26th as the delivery date. The website did say it was an "Express Delivery". All I got was an excuse.

I emailed spygear4u.com and finally got a reply. More excuses, but because they are willing to give me 10% off my next order, I feel that they are admitting someone goofed. I sent them back and email and asked them WHY I should do business with them again when they couldn't fulfill their obligation on my first order. I also told them I would contact my credit card company and see if they could do anything about the situation.

As far as I am concerned, this company is only interested in getting their money and could care less about the customer.
