Sir,
We purchased Eureka Forbes RO Water purifier systems in Sept 2002 (model WoongJin Coway). At that time the RO systems were just being introduced in India.
The system has not been working for past 20 days and inspite of our repeated complaints no action is being taken against it. We registered our first complaint on 14th May 2005 numbered 65710...Further complaint numbers are 67869, 68783. Nobody listened to us on the 24 hour service number provided. We had to go personally to register our complain so that somebody could come and attend to our complaint.
The system is the older model and the engineers just don't know how to fix it. The engineers sent to our place for fixing it do not have the knowledge or the expertise required to fix the machine. On two occasions they fixed something but the machine stopped working after 1 hour. This kind of service inspite of the fact that we have AMC with these people and have it since we bought the system.
These guys say that the pipes that were used in that system are no more available...Once they suggested we will take the machine to our service centre...but after 2 days they said no our seniors said we can fix it at your place. One of their sales person said that this cannot be fixed and we should go in for the exchange offer and buy their new RO system named Reviva, but then that was also not pursued further. Nobody is attending to our complaints now...
I am sorry to say that this is the worst service I am getting from a reputed company like Eureka Forbes. This is very shameful. Because of all the harassment that we people were facing we had to make a stop payment to the next AMC cheque that we had issued.
I would request Eureka Forbes people to take immediate action to our problem and improve there services so that people who go in for it's reputation would keep on suffering in future too.
