I purchased two phones from Inphonic.com in Nov 2004. Each phone was $150, and each came with a $50 and a $100 rebate.
The $50 rebate form was to be filed 12 weeks after activation. I filed the claims within the window, with all appropriate paperwork, and sent it by certified mail in February 2005. In late February it was denied because they claimed I had cancelled my account with Cingular, which I had not done. Since February of 2005 I have called Inphonic weekly. They have been completely unhelpful in resolving this issue, even though they verified back in February that my accounts were indeed never cancelled.
On my most recent phone call to them, the 9th so far, I asked to speak to a manager. After being on hold approximately 5 minutes, they transferred me to a random cell phone number in Utah! Just some guy, not an employee of their company.
I just sent in the $100 rebates last week (again by certified mail) because they needed to be mailed between 150 and 180 days after activation. I have little hope of ever getting the money from either set of rebates.
