Sears Rewards program

I have a Seard Mastercard and was sent literature to join their rewards program.. I finally earned enough points for a 15.00 Blockbuster gift card. It never came. I called 3 times and the first two times they said to give it more time.

The third time they said Sears is not responsible for lost mail. I said you mean I just lost my reward and all the points I had earned to get it and they said that's right. I should have paid extra for Fed Ex to guarantee the delivery.

I also belong to the American Express Rewards program and they stand behind their program sending out the reward at no charge 2nd day mail if the reward is not rec'd. I guess Sears doesn't care about it's customers. I will not shop there again.

Even if you used the Fed Ex guarantee, you would have been charged $13, leaving you with a positive $2, not worth it!. You are lucky it was only a $15 dollar card. They claim the post office "lost" our $1000 gift card! We accumulated 65,000 points over MANY years, and they say it is not their problem! What BS!!! I have been with them for over 10 years, and they don't care! This is the last time I will use that card!

Did I look at the date correctly. 2005? It's a shame that still 3 years later, they are still having the same issues. I lost $250, and have hit one dead-end after another. Same excuse on their end. "Not responsible for lost mail". Interesting how after 10 years, not 1 monthly statement was "lost", but a $250 gift card, mysteriously disappears. If I didn't know any better, I would say the guy stuffing the envelope with the cards was actually stuffinig his pocket.
