I live in Ashland, MA and called Sears Repair Service to repair my refrigerator as the ice maker stopped working. We had purchased an extended warranty on it, a GE side by side refrigerator. They were to come on Monday, March 28. I took the day off from work to wait for them during the 1:00-4:30 time they scheduled me. At 3:30 I was called and informed that the repairman was running behind and I would have to reshedule.

 

I rescheduled for Thursday morning March 31. I took the morning off from work to wait during the 8:00-12:00 time I was given. Again I was called to say the repairman was running late and would arrive after 12:00. This has caused me to miss two days of work. In addition the exact same thing happened earlier this year trying to get our snowblower repaired.

 

I have never experienced such unreliable, inconsiderate service! There seems to be a complete disregard for their customers time. In addition no one from Customer Service returned my calls as they said they would. In the future I will no longer purchase appliances from Sears or use their repair service.
