I purchased through the internet Advalean weight loss pills from Optalife Nutrition on 2-2-05. 2-10-05 I sent an email stating I was ready to contact the proper authorities since their phone number was disconnected and I had not received the pills.

I received an email 2-11-05 saying the pills would be shipping in a few days and I would be receiving a 50% discount. 2-14-05 I sent an email asking when they would be shipped and was told it had already shipped. 2-18-05 I still did not have the pills and my credit card statement showed the full amount charged so I sent another email. 2-18-05 I received an email saying the credit would be applied the next Wed. 2-26-05 I still did not have the pills or credit so I sent a final email saying I wanted either the pills w/the proper amt reflected on my credit card or if they didn't want to send the pills (even though I was told they were shipped) I wanted the full amount credited.

Neither happened so I called my credit card company and had the charges reversed. I also made a complaint w/the BBB in Boise, ID and emailed other companies I found on the web saying Optalife Nutrition was a great company blahblahblah. I did a little more research and found out that Optalife is not the manufacture of this product as they say they are on their website. I spoke with the manufacture and they said they have had numerous calls where people were scammed. Hopefully others will ready this before they buy any product from Optalife. They do sell other products.
