This company had quoted a price over the phone which was way below what we were currently paying. Being a major university, and buying a large number of binders, we were interested in find the lowest possible price. We were assured the price was correct, they were indeed going to sell us binders for a very low price. When told how much we currently pay, their salesman assured us they would beat that price and just needed a signature on a quote. When the quote arrived at our office, the quantity was fifty and cost was going to be $5.96.This did not say anything about per unit.

When we were billed $369.00 for fifty binders when we currently pay $118.00,we were shocked. When the salesman was notified of this he basically played dumb. We were told "how could you think they would be that cheap". When asked to speak to his supervisor, a woman returned our call. We explained the situation to her and basically was told the same thing," how could you think they would be that cheap". We were also told that it was a custom order, and could not be returned. When she was told how this was not a very good business practice and we will not do business with you in future, we were told "that's your prerogative". This company is misleading and not very friendly. They could have at least tried to make things OK by offering a discounted price or something. They did not want to do anything about this. They were happy just getting a few hundred dollars. We order hundreds of binders per year. If they were smart they would have worked with us. We highly recommend using another company besides Vinyl Industrial Products.
