My daughter and I join Hollywood Tans every summer. They are currently advertising a special membership rate @$19.99 per month for a minimum 3-month membership. When I went to purchase it, I was told that I could only get that price if I permitted a monthly deduction from my checking account.

If I paid cash up front for the 3-month membership, the cost would triple to $60.00 per month. I do not allow anyone access to deduct money from my account.

I believe that this is an unfair business practice. I prefer to go to Hollywood Tans but will go elsewhere until and unless this policy is changed. This is the policy for the entire franchise chain - not just the location nearest to me. When I tried to go to the HT website to complain to them directly, I found no way to contact them. Ok whoever told her to grow up can go screw themselves cus that is a legitimate reason to complain.

i signed up for the same membership of 19.99 per month for 3 months and gave them my bank card number as is their policy. After my 3 months you would think that they would stop charging my account right? wrong they kept charging it and when i went there they told me that i owed them money. yea i'm never going to a Hollywood tans again if they are going to demand my account info and then rip me off in the process.
