Medved Chevrolet – Castle Rock. Colorado I spent 4.5 hours sitting in the Medved store while my son was attempting to purchase a new Chevy Colorado Truck. This was my son’s first auto purchase and I understand that the First Time Buyer Program is a unique program and such I was patient with the sales department at Medved. When push came to shove with trying to make the deal work the sales manager gave us a number that we could agree on and was acceptable to Medved, the sales manager told my son that he had a deal and shook his hand.

I had expressed to the sales manager that we clearly understand that if they could not get him financed that we would wait until he has all of the necessary qualification to proceed. However, they assured my son that everything was good, we sat down and signed all of the finance paperwork and took the truck home – One week later they call my son and tell him he needs to bring the truck back due to they didn’t secure financing and that they could get him into a less expensive car.

Why do they tell you have a deal, shake your hand, make you sit there for 4.5 hours, sign all of the finance paperwork, deliver the vehicle, and a week later pull the rug out from under you? Don’t tell someone that they have a deal until it is final! Be careful of the promises that Medved makes. They don’t stand behind them!

Medved will never change their practices. They pulled the same thing with us. They sold us a car with bad brakes and dirty. Told us we could come in during the week to have them fixed and cleaned. Took it back the following Saturday and was told we shouldnt have driven the car off the lot if we thought there was a brake problem. And good luck filing a complaint against them with the Colorado Dealer Board. The owner John Medved is a board mem er so any complaints "are looked into" and never brought up again.
