We went to purchase a king size bed and a frame, At Raymour & flanigan in Whitehall, PA. we were told about a financing promotion of 3 years but with payments. We asked how much the payments would be, the told us that it was going to be the total amount divided by the term which is 36 months and 1/40th of this.

Since our payments were going to be so little we decided to come back and get a dining set. In the contract it says No Interest option ends Jan 2008. Custom 1/40th payments required during option period. And again when we asked what does this means we were told by the sales rep the terms that I described. However, when I got my bill my payments are double the amount. I contacted Wells Fargo the company in charge of financing, spoke to Lisa, She told me to contact the store that maybe they made an error and that they will fix it.

I contact the store spoke to Jamie Butters the manager and told us that my husband and I are wrong that they never said that, the payments are 1/40th of the total payment, that I initialed the paper. I told him what the paper says and it doesn't say what he claims. That the words are Custom 1/40 payments required. And it was explained to us different.

We also contact the Vice president of the region Keith Borrell at 215-529-0192, but Jamie spoke to him first. And he came out with the same answer offer us to give us 1 year no payment, no interest and then we have to pay the balance in full. Now my payments are double the amount of what they told us. And they claim there's nothing they can do.
