As one of the largest candy companies on the internet, we ship thousands of orders each month. 99% of our customers are satisfied with our products and service. We treat each and every order personally and seriously. Naturally, we cannot please everybody!

Consumer Message - March 23, 2005:

 

On 12/23/2003 I ordered the following from ebulkcandy.com (also apparently known as Candy Holdings LLC., Confection Perfection, PennCandy, and, presumably, many others): 4 each: Barton's Bartonettes...Bittersweet Assortment...1 LB...$12.99 4 each: Tastykake - MINI PIES 4 oz Boxed Pies: Apple, French Apple, Cherry, Lemon 1 each: Burton's English Licorice Allsorts...6.6 lb Box 2 each: Frosty Kandy Kakes... White Chocolate Covered Chocolate Cakes...Box of SIX For a total of $89.87 including shipping. Early in January, the chocolates and the licorice showed up. The licorice was fresh and just fine, one box of chocolates was quite stale and inedible, the other three, with a different box and an earlier bar code, were hard as concrete - a little surprising since Barton's is quite near ebulkcandy's alleged address. I emailed ebulkcandy and, on 1/29/04, got the following

response: "Hi Mark We are going to send you a reimbursement for the Barton's and we owe you some more Tastykakes thanks Karen" Several weeks later the tasty pies showed up - the Kandy Kakes have never appeared, nor has any sign of a refund. Numerous emails, faxes, and phone messages have never been returned. I let this drop until a couple weeks when I got a message from ebulkcandy soliciting more orders for this year. I emailed back reminding them of last year. Again, no response. Browsing the internet, it appears that ebulkcandy's attitude is that "You can't please everybody". No, I guess you can't. Ebulkcandy.com appears to be in Morrisville, PA., although their phone answering machine is in west central NJ, across the Delaware river.
