Cordia Communications phone service Cordia Communications phone service
Cordia Communications PO Box 1763 White Plains, NY 10602-1763 My bills with this company for my business phone.always ran under $60 per month. In Jan. '05 the bill almost doubled. My first call to them was on 2-1-05. The customer service person could not give me any explanation, promised a call back within 24 hours. No call. I called on 2-10.
Told if I didn't get a call back from billing w/i 3-4 days I should call him back. No call. Called 2-28. Still no explanation. I've honestly lost track of all the calls since then. Previous to this billing problem, there have been many times when callers get a recording saying "all circuits are busy". I have called several times to report this. It continues to happen periodically. Then there was a period, over a few weeks when callers heard "this number is unassigned".
I have had this number for almost 20 years! There have also been periods when I could not gain access to my email. Then there was a period when customers could not leave emails. I can't begin to calculate the business I have lost because of all these problems, not to mention time and therefore money lost spending hours on the phone begging people to get this straightened out. As I have continued to dispute these bills, I have continued to be billed huge amounts each month. When I returned home from being out of town due to a family medical emergency, I learned that my phone service had been disconnected!
Again, lost business and money. In my mail I found a letter saying that if I did not contact by a date 2 days after this, they would disconnect. So they disconnected my phone 2 days before their own stated deadline. After infuriating hours on the phone with people who said they couldn't help me, I finally got someone in collections level II to agree that they would reconnect my phone(hours later) if I would pay the amount I should actually be paying instead of the disputed, outrageous amounts. I found Cordia's customer service to be appallingly bad.
I just wanted to get this straightened out (as I still do) and pay my regular bill, not the hundreds of dollars they are now erroneously billing me. And I don't want to waste more hours on the phone to resolve this. At this time I am again waiting for a response from them re the disputed amounts. Unfortunately I do not have an email address for Cordia. Their bill shows their website as cordia.us, which Google cannot find. They convinced my 89 year old mother to switch her phone service. She switched back to Verizon shortly afterwards. In April, we received an invoice showing that she is owed $37.77. I have called them 6 times and each time have been told a different story about when the check is being mailed. It has been 7 months. Clearly they do not intend to pay her. BUT! THERE IS AN EASY SOLUTION! Since you definiately see they are just taking ur money... JUST STOP USING THEM!!! DA!!!! Register a complaint with consumer affairs, refuse to pay them and PLEASE put in your complaint with BBB in your area. With all the money they're ripping you off for, you might as well hook up a real business line with a real company and get a website or thru ur cable company. Are you kidding??? Yes, it's as simple as that! Buy the way, u mind telling me what type of business you have. I'm looking 4 something but 'TRUST ME' I WILL NOT BE RIPPED OFF!!
