Bogus ATP SD Card Rebate at Fry's

I purchased an ATP SD card at Fry's. There was a $25 rebate offered through rebatestatus.com After waiting 3 months, I went online and discovered that it was still in processing. I checked again one week later and online status showed that the check had shipped.

That was over one month ago. I sent emails which went unanswered. I called today. Finally spoke to a representative who claimed that the check was sent and that they couldn't reissue. My only recourse was the retailer. I will contact ATP and Fry's, but doubt I'll have this resolved in my favor. My solution: I will only deal

with rebates through actual brick and motar companies. Otherwise, I'll buy products only for a good price and no products will be purchased with rebates through rebatestatus.com!
