Good day, My son bought me a cell phone, on the 05/06/05 for Mother's Day.Not knowing too much about cell phones,he called the company and got me set up with a telephone #.

He charged the phone overnight.He left the next day to return to work 6 hours away.

I tried to use the phone the next day and it had not charged.I returned to the store,but had no receipt.They refused to exchange it and I understood that policy and accepted it.

The store is:Trans Eastern Communications/ Bell world, in Cornwall,Ontario,Canada.

My problem is this: Yesterday,I returned to the store with my receipt,as My son came home and gave it to me.I had everything,except the plastic wrap that covered the phone.I had the phone,my receipt,the pamplets.They refused to exchange it.Store policy? They do not take anything back without the plastic wrap and it was more then 30 days since my son has bought the phone..

Don't people understand that he was 6 hours away working a shut-down??Now I am stuck with a Motoprola C341 Self-Ser that cost $113.85 that does not work and I cannot use, cause it will not charge.

I think this policy is silly..I would appreciate your help.Thank you and have a great day.
