Allied Interstate-3000 Corporate Exchange Drive 5th Floor Columbus, OH 43231 I can relate to all the complaints I’ve read on Allied Interstate. I have never been spoken to the way they spoke to me on the phone. I contacted them several months ago because I was trying to get a credit card write off paid. They wanted me to pay so much for 3 months but I couldn’t so they set up a payment plan with me. They told me to pay 100.00 that day & give them 4 more check numbers. They debited my account. I received a letter from them saying I owed the whole amount so I called & spoke to the person over my account, Donna Latham. I tried explaining to her that I couldn’t afford more that the 100.00 & that they told me one amount at the beginning & another time they told me a different amount & now she’s telling me something else.

After talking to her for a while (she was fairly nice) another woman, Erin Washington got on the phone. Well, that’s when I went into total shock. She asked me what the confusion was all about, so I started telling her how I contacted the Credit Bureau & got their number & called to try to get this paid. She said VERY RUDELY, What do you want me to do, pin a medal on your chest so you can boast. I told her that was very ugly & she kept making snide remarks to me. I told her I was very upset because I was on the way to my mom’s house…she has altzeimers & we have to take care of her & one of my best friends passed away that afternoon.

She said, “Yea & my husband left me, my kids got in a wreck, I don’t have a job, I have no money for groceries, yea yea yea, I’ve heard it all honey. All lies. I started praying for her & she said don’t put Jesus in this, I’m a Catholic. I told her she was no Catholic speaking to me the way she was. She just kept on & kept on. She told me she liked when people couldn’t pay the credit card companies because then they came to her & she loves her job. She told me something very ugly & hung up on me. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission & I also spoke to my attorney. I called back this morning & asked who was the president of this company & they hung up on me. I called back & said that I had just gotten hung up on & asked the same question.

She put me on whole for a second & then came back & said George Bush, Jr. & hung up on me. I called Bank of America & spoke with their agency & she said they would file a complaint against her but that I had to stay with Allied. I told her I was not paying them anything else & asked if they could take a judgment out on me (which they kept saying they would do) & she said she didn’t think they could. The only bad thing is that they now have my acct. number. Something needs to be done with this company. I would think after reading so many complaints on Allied that something would be done.
