I will to submit my following complain on your site I own a opel corsa which I have bought approx. 2yrs back.I had given this vehicle for repairs as the A.C. was not working properly. It seems that the knob of the A.C has delicate plastic parts in it resulting in the malfunction.And for the broken knob they chnged the complete AC panel assembly. I am really appalled to hear that such poor quality parts are being used in the car and a part that is costing 4500Rs. should not be of such poor quality that it should last for mere 2yrs. Since I live in Pune and dont really use the AC a lot. The A.C. is switched on for hardly 2-3 months in a year, that too for maximum 2hours a day. And this minimum usage has resulted in malfunction of the A.C.???? During the last servicing(Car had a jerking problem) the people at Talera had treated the corsa 3M rejuvenation for which they say they had called me(which they did not). But for whatever reason would a 2yr old car which has traveled 25-30K kms would require rejuvenation unless its engine and transmission is of poor quality.I now regret to buy it. If I had know about the poor quality of parts/service that I am being offered I would definitely have not done so.
Is this the german engineering that is being advertised by GM?? The sales people had given such high hopes about the quality of the car. I have already owned a maruti 800,esteem,palio and now also have a alto, But none of these cars have given me such quality problems, and since I have used these cars ,corsa is not the first car that I have driven. The esteem I owned had covered 1.6lac kms. And had given me trouble free for the entire period (without ever needing any rejuvenation) and I feel sorry that I sold it and bought this low grade corsa.
GM is using low quality parts and instead of taking corrective action they are making the customer to bear the loss. The car has ground clearance 190mm mentioned in its spec sheet, but even when 3 people are sitted in it , it manages to scrap speedbreakers. When I spoke with Talera service incharge regarding my AC problem , he spoke as if he has paid for the car am I am just a driver.
