I OBTAINED A CREDIT CARD FROM CROSS COUNTRY BANK WITH A CREDIT LIMIT OF $300.00. WITHIN A MATTER OF MONTHS, I HAD ACCESSED FEES AND OWED 771.00 THE ACCOUNT WAS TRANSFERRED TO A COLLECTION AGENCY CALLED SELECT FINANCIAL. A REPRESENTATIVE FROM SELECT FINANCIAL CONTACTED ME AND OFFERED ME A SETTLEMENT ON THE ACCOUNT. MY WIFE SENT A CHECK FOR THE SETTLEMENT AMOUNT AND 6 MONTHS LATER WE ARE STILL BE HARRASSED BY ANOTHER COLLECTION AGENCY FOR THE ENTIRE $771.00. SOMEBODY STOLE THE MONEY. MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN CALLING CROSS COUNRTY BANK FOR 6 MONTHS NOW, OFFERING COPIES OF THE CANCELED CHECK. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SEEING IT. THEY ARE CONSTANTLY TELLING ME THAT I HAVE TO PAY THE $771.00 TO HAVE MY CREDIT UPDATED.
