One Teaspoon One Teaspoon
I returned two faulty items to One Teaspoon over four months ago, and was contacted and notified that although the items were faulty, there were no replacements available so the items would be returned to me. I asked for different styles of the same value as replacements or repairs instead, but the company would not do either. The items were returned to me and I contacted Consumer Affairs for help. The girl assigned to my case managed to get the owner to call me after about 2 1/2 months to solve the issue. I had made the faulty goods claim when I was employed at the store that the items were purchased from. One Teaspoon suggested that if I returned the items again (at my expense) they would send me a cheque for the amount I had paid.
I returned the items again and waited for the owner to contact me. A further month later I still hadn't heard anything so I contacted the owner again and she said she would check at the warehouse and call me if there were any problems. Another two weeks have gone and I had to contact them again today. The owner said she was overseas and told me to call the office so I did. I was told that they had not recieved the clothes I sent back over six weeks ago for the second time and could not send me the cheque. The lady I spoke to was also rude, sarcastic and acted like I wasn't entitled to anything anyway. So after four months, a case with consumer affairs, numerous phone calls and two lots of postage - I have no replacements, no re-imbursement, and don't even have the faulty clothes that I began with.
