This complaint concerns a computer repair business located in Danville, IL. called CTS. I took my laptop computer in to have it put in tip top shape because I was going to put it up for sale on ebay. This is what I told Norm the person who not only works on the computers, but also has the authority to bill or not to bill. Norm is the person in charge. I picked my computer up after CTS called and said it was ready. I reminded Norm that I was going to sell my laptop on ebay and that someone in another state might buy it. Norm said he guarantees his work and to bring it back if anything was wrong. So I went ahead and paid him. About a month later I hooked it up to make sure that everything worked, but the cd burner and reader didn’t work. So I took it back and filled out a report on their computer about what the problem was and told the receptionist that I had already informed Norm about the problem. I told the receptionist not to put any money in it unless I was notified first. The next thing I know I go to pick it up and there is a $98 charge. The receptionist failed to notify me before an extra charge was tacked on. I reminded the receptionist that she was to call me, but she ignored me. I am very disappointed in CTS for not warranting his work. I am also disappointed in his receptionist failing to notify me before an extra charge was tacked on. I would never do anymore business with CTS because I was lied to twice. Norm’s word is not reliable nor is his work. cTS 21 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61832
