I bought my son a computer 4/20/05. With an extra video output included with the order. The part was not included when we received the computer. I called Dell the next week 4/20/05 and was told that the part will be on its way. A week and a half later, I again called Dell to check for the part and was told that the order was cancelled because an IT should be consulting me first. I was not told that. I was on the phone for an hour and a half that day and was told that they will call me right back. I waited again and a return call after another week.

I again told them my situation about a part missing with the order and again was told that they will call me back, again another week has past..finally after three weeks of back and forth with Dell, I finally got a dispatch number, 585-28982 and a case # 101700431. I was told that a part should be in my possession by the 27th of May but they didn't sent out the part until 5/31/05 and got the part 6/2/05. The technician was busy so we were able to get an appt with him 6/6/05 and when he saw the part, it was the wrong part.

I called Dell and told them that I want to return the computer because of poor service and if I get this kind of service with the warranty, it is very disturbing to me. I was then told that I could not return the computer because I only have 21 days after the invoice. I told them it is your promise to deliver the goods that I pay and up to now, I still don't have all the parts that I purchase. All I want is to be able to return this computer and get my money back. Can you please advise what can I do to get my money back? Thank you so much. Ana
